Location:   The Tufters is situated in a picturesque spot in the Exe valley, below Torre rocks, between the villages of Winsford & Exford (about 1 ½ miles from Winsford & about 3 ½ miles from Exford). Both our local villages have good Pubs, General stores, Restaurant & Tea rooms. The Holiday Cottage at The Tufters is the annex of our lovely Exmoor farmhouse. It can sleep up to 6 people and is perfectly located as a base to explore Exmoor. Facilities: The farmhouse annex is fully self contained and furnished to a high standard throughout. Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast/dining area, laundry/drying room, lounge/ TV area. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, (2 ensuite and 1 family bathroom, all with power showers).

				The annex is centrally heated throughout. All heating, lighting, high quality bed linen & towels are fully inclusive in hire price.

Outside: The Cottage is situated in 6 acres of its own attractive grounds. Holiday guests are very welcome to wander around the whole of the grounds. On your doorstep you will find your own patio seating area surrounded by lawned gardens, streams, wildlife ponds and grass paddocks. Ideal for playing with children who like outdoor games, paddling in streams, and walking the dog! The Red Deer of Exmoor can be spotted on the hill opposite. There are a variety of wild birds in the gardens in view from the cottage. We also see wild geese visit the pond, and more frequently a heron. We have lambs in the paddocks in Springtime, and beautiful Devon Red Cattle come to stay occasionally to help us mow the grass!
